Happy Birthday Kayli!!!

Well, I cannot believe it's come. My little girl is 6 years old. She was born January 26th (superbowl sunday) at 12:16 am!! Here is a picture of her as a newborn and then from this morning. We had pancakes and her's was special with blueberry nose and mouth and banana eyes! Almost as good as IHOP...how quickly these days pass by...

Too Cute...

So, here is a picture that I found of Kayli in the bath with her first two teeth. I don't know much about teeth...I did work for a dentist for two years, but don't know the logistics of which teeth come in first and which go out first. Some kids get their bottom teeth first, some one at a time, and some two at a time. I have even heard of kids teething four teeth at once. So, I also am unsure about the loosing of teeth. Some kids lose their top teeth one at a time. Some lose one top and one bottom...it is confusing to me. Kayli (a year younger than Isak) lost her two bottom teeth and he just lost his two top teeth??? A kid in Kayli's school class is the same age as Kayli and has loose top teeth. Does anyone know why some do that? Does it coincide with which teeth they got first? That is my theory. Kayli lost the two teeth she got first. She got both bottom teeth at the same time and lost both same bottom teeth about 6 days apart. Anyway, here is the picture I found of her with her two bottom teeth and the picture of her new smile...bottom teeth missing!

This is super cool and by far one of my favorite things. Mrs. Dedeyan, missionary wife in Paris, put this out for us to use to put sugar cubes into our coffee(brown sugar cubes too) and I really liked it. Well, one of the girls that was there with us at lunch bought me one when she saw it shopping!!! I loooooooooove it and cannot wait to use it!

Our new full size weighted keyboard...for Kayli to use because she is taking piano lessons from Rebecca...I love to sit at it and push the demo key and pretend like I am playing...my kids crack up!!!

The Best Christmas Miracle Ever....

Well, we've been waiting for this day. We were held to tight secrecy around here!!! Only one of the grand kids let the cat out of the bag and it was contained well....but the news is sooooooooooooooooo exciting we have been bursting at the seams wanting to tell the world!!!! REBECCA and LANCE are expecting!!!! They told us at Christmas, hello!!! I cannot keep secrets!!! But I am proud of myself, I kept it to myself (mostly). Anyway, here are a few pictures from the tearful (excited tears) telling of the news on Christmas Day. After all the gifts had been opened they told us that they had one more gift for mom and dad....I knew it right away, grabbed my camera and took these fun shots!!! We are thrilled!!! They are due in July and we hope to have a shower for them in Owasso sometime in May!!! Get ready world, another grand baby is on the way!

Here it is...the bracelet and her first charm!! Soooooooo cute!! And, she loves it!!

Broken???

That is what Hudson said of Kayli's exciting event today!! YEP, finally that tooth came out! She has been wiggling her two bottom teeth for weeks now and lost one right before school. She was brushing her teeth and spit yucky blood into the sink. I looked into her mouth and turned her right tooth all the way around. "Did that hurt?" I asked her??? "No"...so, I counted to three and pulled....out it came! She was very excited but a little shocked at how much blood there was....still very excited. We talked a while back about what the tooth fairy would bring and we decided it would be cool if she brought a charm for each tooth lost and a bracelet...so, her bracelet and first charm is all set up and ready for her to wake up to it in the morning!!! Geoff thinks I'm crazy and went overboard, but it is fun! I made the bracelet myself and found a cute charm at Hobby Lobby...so, it wasn't too pricey...Anyway, here are a few pictures for her...Hudson is so confused, he keeps telling her that her tooth is broken...and he loves to wiggle the left one that is lose...that one is soon to follow!
