ok, well, we're here now, got here safe this afternoon...upon unpacking here is what i found in my closet!














yes, a fiddleback...now we are kinda nervous to sleep! please pray for us, we are feeling a little bit out of place around here.

Geoff says, not to worry, we found it dead...i feel much better!

Finally here....

Well, we arrived in KS on Tuesday afternoon...4 hrs. in the car with the kids, Geoff driving the moving FUN!!!

Cody and Dannielle drove up/down from her mom and dad's to help us move in...they were lots of help...



Dannielle and I got to catch up and fill the kitchen shelves.



Cody was a huge help...as you can see...just kidding, Geoff wore him out with all the moving up and down the stairs!

Here is a picture of Kayli and Hudson's room...where we put all the boxes and then a picture of our living/dinning rooms...finally all moved in. We got pictures up today and all boxes emptied. It's back to Owasso tomorrow for VBS!!

Going, going, gone....

The time has finally come to go...we had some guys from church help move us into the truck this morning. There was some rain while we moved, but it was a drizzle and kinda a blessing in disguise because it was nice and cool...instead of 90 degrees.

We take off tomorrow morning for KS...don't cry, we'll be back on Thursday for a week and a half and then we'll be gone for good. Then you can cry along with everyone else...including myself. We love living here and hope to be back soon.

Pray for safety while we drive, here is a picture of the truck...it's a big one and it's full! The challenge will be getting it all into our new appartment...wish us luck!

Sand, Beach, Water, Sunshine, Family, Oh! My!...

Well, we pulled in today at about 5:45pm from our 26 hr, two day drive home from Florida. As most of you know, we go to Florida every summer with the Slaydens...and this year was no exception. We left the 25th of may and two weeks later, arrived brown and relaxed. We had such a good time with everyone...come to find out that the 14 of us have been holding up in a condo with a maximum of 6 people...we pushed the walls to the limit with 6 air matteresses at once...plus there are three bedrooms...ha!! It's close quarters but lots of fun...

The grandkids loved jumpping on Grandpa and the beds as they deflated. They watched movies together, ate breakfast together, played in the sand, waves, and pool together.

There was the annual trip to the outlet mall, Louisianna Lagniappe, and take down of Papa Slayden (by his male offsprings, of course).

We had a GREAT time, but are glad to be home and in our own beds??? I guess we aren't in our own beds yet...that won't happen for a few more weeks....ha!! But you know what I mean.
