The grand kids take over
We have come to the end of our Thanksgiving festivities. Almost everyone has left and school has begun. We began our week with Jon and his family coming in on Friday afternoon before Thanksgiving. Becca and Lance arrived on Monday and the prodigal son, Chris, pulled in with his "special friend", Marty, on Tuesday night. We spent a fun week and weekend together. Tuesday was the Chili cookout at church, Wednesday we had some family friends over for an authentic French meal, and Thursday we stuffed ourselves this a scrumptious Thanksgiving meal. Friday we had family pictures, Christmas tree shopping, and Christmas present exchanging. Saturday we had a birthday breakfast for Jon (not a young pup any longer) and the girls shopped till we dropped. Sunday we had wonderful Thanksgiving services. We had a full week. I took a picture of the grand kids in the TV room...they took over up there. We just kinda let them have their reign and decided to worry about it all when everyone is gone. Everyday I asked if anyone was hurt in the hurricane....ha!! Kayli and Isak really enjoyed doing karate and Hudson and Alee spent a lot of time coloring. They all did so well together. Roman was a big winner, as always. We have cute pictures below of the kids with him!!! What a GREAT time with family!

All by myself...
Yes, I got up here all by myself...and decided that I really like to use Kayli's markers to color on...EVERYTHING! Actually he did just fine coloring on the paper I gave him. I did, however, notice a little marker on his neck later. But how fun for him to find a big boy pastime to ocupy him. I am loosing the baby in him, I know! But, NO, it is not time for another one...ha ha!
