Blessings from Arizona...

Most of you know that G and I have been looking for a van to replace the one we got from his parents 2 years ago. We had some bad news about the Plymouth about a month ago or so. It is having transmition problems and we decided it wiser to replace than fix...so we prayed and looked. Then a call came from my side of the family with news of a blessing...my mom and dad (now retired) had decided to drive their Honda out to us. They are downgrading from 2 to 1 car. After tears of joy and excitement over the Lord's quick provision we planned their trip to fall on Easter weekend. Well, they came and played with the kids, relaxed, and we enjoyed Easter together. Here are a few pictures of them and the kids and the new van!! Yeah!

Done with Dino?? Already?

Well, it's so strange to me...someone gets something they've been wanting FOREVER! They are sooooooooooooooo excited buying accessories for it and cannot wait to get home to show it off. Then, sadly, two days later....here it lies...on the ground. All alone...wondering where the excitement went...not even allowed on the bed! Back to sleeping with the $1 dog bought for her by Grandma Slayden. The $1 dog? How much was that dino anyway? Clothes and shoes, robe and slippers? $41 dollars minus the $20 gift card (sorry Sandy). Maybe someday, the excitement will return...for now, it's done with dino.

Easter Morning!

Here are a few pictures of Easter morning...Kayli and Hudson in their new duds. We had a wonderful Sunday Easter service and enjoyed some yummy Easter lunch that afternoon. My mom and dad are here and it was fun to have them at this special time of the year!

Took Kayli and Hudson to the mall today for a picture with The Easter Bunny...who, by the way, has nothing to do with Easter. Anyway, they both loved him...and I paid way tooooooooooooooooo much money for a picture. But this is the first time I've paid for one...so that's not too bad. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

The first day of spring...

showed up today with sunshinny skies and warm weather. After Hudson's nap, we decided to go play outside and take some pictures. Of course there are not many pictures of Hudson's face b/c he would not look at me. Kayli loved posing for me and we even got one of the two of us girls! Happy spring!

A visit with Aunt Renee...

Spring Break is here and we wanted to get out of town! We decided to go to OKC and stay with Renee for a couple of days. It rained and Hudson ended up sick...but we still had fun hanging with Renee. Here is the only picture that I have, but Kayli looooooooooooooooooves Renee (nee nee).

Aubrey Anna came over to play the other day...here are a few cute pictures. This was last week. What a lovely day it was. Hudson showed Aubrey how to eat sand...she was impressed!

A blast from the past...

Brian, Shannon, and Sadie were here a week ago. We had fun hangn' out with them and spending time getting to know little Sadie Bug. Brian did a wonderful job preaching for us. Well, here it is...

Just a few pictures of our house before the movers came this morning! It's done and the cleaners are coming tomorrow morning! We're out and having mixed feelings...all part of this next phase of our lives.

We're Outta Here.........

and into Pastor and Carla's house. We took Kayli and Hudson over this morning and then began the big move. While Carla watched the kids, Geoff and I started the daunting job of packing the house up. We made some good headway and moved just about everything we own into boxes into the living room. It was a sad day for me. It's hard to see the kid's rooms empty with the thought that we are really moving to KS at the front of my mind. No pictures today, I'll post some later...we still have much work to do. Please pray for Pastor and Carla as we invade their quite abode.
